iCoToBa行事報告　イマージョン・プログラム

8月11日（日）〜12日（月）、岡崎にある「愛知県青年の家」で、Immersion Programの合宿が催されました。今回が初めてということで、英語と中国語の2ヶ国語のプログラムが用意されました。本学の学生の16名のほかにも、 英語プログラムには県内の高校生12名が参加しました。3名のiCoToBa教員の指導のもと、9名のインターンがプログラムを企画しました。また、本学 の外国人大学院生らによるインドネシア語、中国語、スペイン語の直接法（媒介言語なし）入門講座も開かれました。初日はアイスブレーキングで仲良くなった あと、５つのグループに分かれてスキット作りをし、夜のタレントショーで発表し合いました。自由時間も英語のゲームをしたり、夜遅くまで話に花が咲き、翌 朝は眠い目をこする参加者も出ました。英語のラジオ体操でスタートした２日目はクイズ作りとその発表会、そして午後はキング牧師のスピーチを勉強したあと に、それぞれの夢をI have a dream that…とSpeakers’ Cornerで発表し合いました。あっという間の27時間でしたが、外国語漬けの生活の効果は？またぜひ開催をというアンケート結果に関係者全員が笑顔で 夏休みを迎えることができました。

Immersion Program

On August 11 and 12, the first Kendai Immersion Program in English/Chinese was held at the Youth House in Okazaki. 16 Kendai students together with 12 high school students joined this program which was run by 9 interns with the help of 3 iCoToBa teachers. Indonesian, Chinese and Spanish classes for beginners were also offered by the exchange students to the participants. After the ice-breaking sessions, the participants made and practiced skits in groups and performed them at the talent show in the evening. They played games and chatted till late at night. The second day started with the radio exercises in English to wake them up. They spent the rest of the day for quiz making and speech making. They learned about other countries and talked about their dreams. The results of the wrap-up questionnaires assured the organizers a cheerful summer vacation.
