The registration fee covers the following:

• Admission to scientific sessions
• conference kit (proceedings and conference bag)
• the welcome party on Tuesday night (August 20)
• 3 lunches (August 20, 21, 22)
• 6 refreshments during the conference
• transportation from the conference official hotel or the subway station, to the conference site.

About the additional banquet fee
The conference banquet (Wednesday evening, August 21st) is optional and requires an additional fee. The IACL banquet fee is as a rule included in the registration fee but since there are only a limited number of seats (about 300) in the restaurant, we chose to make participation in the banquet optional. The actual cost will be of 7,000 Yen (including beverages) per participant, but considering the already very high registration fee required this time in the case of registrants from abroad who face various expenses, we set the special rate of 4000 Yen for the banquet fee, the remaining expense being paid by the Organizing Committee.

B. Domestic participants *

B1) Wednesday's Conference Banquet fee included:

27,000 Yen (Student concession 19,000 Yen)

B2) Not attending the Conference Banquet:

20,000 Yen (Student concession 15,000 Yen)

* Anyone who works or studies in a Japanese University or in any other Japanese academic institution or company regardless of nationality or length of stay in Japan will be considered as B "Domestic participant". If you think an exception should be made in your case, please contact the Organizing Committee and provide some justification of your status.

2. Payment options

A. Participants from abroad

Choose one of the following options. Options A1) or A2) are limited to early registration and can be used only if you pay by June 30th (Since the surcharge for exchanging bank draft to cash is expensive in Japan, A1) is more preferable). If you cannot pay before the end of June, please use option 3) and pay in Nagoya after your arrival in Japan.

A1) Payment by Credit card (Visa or Master Card only). No surcharges are required.

A2) Payment by bank draft in Japanese Yen.
Payable to: IACL-11 Organizing Committee

A3) Payment in Japanese Yen (cash) upon arrival in Nagoya at the Conference registration desk. A 2,000 Yen surcharge will be required.

B. Domestic participants

B1) Payment by Credit card (Visa or Master Card only). No surcharges are required.

B3) Payment in Japanese Yen (cash) upon arrival in Nagoya at the Conference registration desk. A 2,000 Yen surcharge will be required.
